You know, we always talk about being too busy for this or that, but we really have to find time or before we know it, people just disappear out from under us. I don't know how you feel yet, but I will, and I can imagine that it must hurt something terrible. I'm thinking about you and your girl, and your losses, but also everyone elses' losses. I didn't know Melissa's mom, but I can say that I sure miss Ed too. He was a good man, and I know damn well he's proud of you and watching you now. My Mom would probably say that there are some people that God just wants to have with him sooner rather than later, and I think that this has to apply to Ed... and likely, Joyce as well. She would also probably say that they're not gone, just on the second leg of a long journey. And they'll be there waiting for you when it's your turn. Peace, brother - David.
